左起: 文打烟区州议员魏宗贤与事主蓝联兴蓝联兴(42岁), 从事维修机器工程生意。 日前下午与妻子从麻坡五马路乘桥车欲前往玉射工作,当驶至麻桥时遇交警设路障, 蓝先生无辜被交警开罚单罪名为蓝先生当时没有扣上安全带。蓝先生感到很愕然因当时与妻子共骑一辆桥车同时双双也有扣上安全带,为何交警还开罚单。蓝先生对此感到很不满, 今日通过文打烟区州议员魏宗贤发布新闻公布此不公的事件。 事主表示当时他与妻子确确实实一上车就扣上安全带, 当驶至丹绒亚葛一公里处(即麻桥下)被交警拦下并开出罚单。事主当时多番与交警解释他与妻子都有扣上安全带, 但该交警却表示其其中一位同事告知蓝先生在驾驶时没有扣上安全带。多番解释下事主还是接过罚单但因不愿在罚单上签名而被多加一条罪名, 并要事主在四月上法庭。事主表示, 他对于警方在处理事件时无法秉持公正公明的态度感到很失望。 因交警只凭一句同事告诉他事主没有扣上安全带就不分你我的开出罚单无论事主如何解释也于事无补。文打烟区州议员魏总贤对于蓝先生的遭遇感到很遗憾, 且对于交警的处事态度感到失望。 州议员透露事主每天都在路上为生活而奔波为了避免不必要的花费事主都是奉公守法, 遵从交通规则的公民但此次无辜受罚而蒙受不必要的罚款。州议员表示将协助事主致函礼让警区主任解释整件事情的经过, 并要求豁免该罚款。
